Privacy policy
Updated on 30 July 2026.
This policy explains how the website andreangelo.pt handles visitors' personal data. In short: I only collect the data you send voluntarily, I use it to reply to your request, and I do not add it to marketing lists.
Data controller
André Ângelo (Portuguese tax ID / NIF 234003839). Contact: geral@andreangelo.pt. Full identification details on the legal notice page.
What data I collect and why
- Contact form: name, company, phone number, a description of your activity and confirmation that you have read this policy. This data is used to reply to your request and prepare the analysis or proposal you asked for. The legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract, at the data subject's request (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
- Direct contact: when you reach out by email, phone or WhatsApp, I process the data you share in order to reply to the conversation. On WhatsApp, Meta Platforms also processes the communication under that service's own policy.
I do not use this data for newsletters or advertising, and I do not pass it to third parties for those purposes.
Before submitting, you must confirm that you have read and agree to this policy. That confirmation is stored with your request and does not constitute consent to receive marketing or newsletters.
Service providers and international transfers
The form is processed by Web3Forms, which forwards the message to my email. According to the provider, its servers are in the US-East region of the United States, submissions are not stored, and technical logs that may contain personal data are deleted periodically, in about two months.
The website is served through Cloudflare's infrastructure, which processes the technical data needed to serve and protect the pages. Receiving and replying to messages also involves the email providers used. These services may process data outside the European Economic Area under their own policies and transfer mechanisms.
Cookies and statistics
The website does not use analytics cookies. I use GoatCounter for aggregate visit statistics and to count clicks on the contact links. GoatCounter does not store IP addresses or the full browser header on disk, does not create persistent identifiers on your device, and hosts the service's data in Finland and Germany.
Retention period
Messages are kept for as long as they are needed to reply, prepare a proposal and follow up on the business contact. They are deleted once no longer needed, unless a legal obligation requires keeping them. Web3Forms' technical logs follow the period indicated above.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of your data and, where applicable, object to the processing or request portability. Just write to geral@andreangelo.pt. You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
Changes
If this policy changes, the update date at the top will change too. Relevant changes will be explained on this page.
